Rick Roskin, BCom, MBA, PhD
Vice-President Academic
Dr. Roskin is professor of organizational behavior and development, Faculty
of Business Administration, at Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada.
He is a former Dean of Memorial’s Faculty of Business Administration and
past Director of the Management Programs Division at Royal Roads University,
in Victoria, B.C. He also initiated a Center for International Business Studies.
His commerce degree was completed at University of. British Columbia, Canada,
his MBA. at Queens University, Canada, and his Ph.D. at the University of Bradford
in the U.K.
Dr. Roskin has worked as a researcher and consultant in North America, the U.K., New Zealand and Australia. His focus has been on improving managerial achievement through leadership and organizational development. Some of the organizations he has work with include: The U.S. Strategic Air Command, British Steel, Rank Xerox International, The Canadian Coast Guard, The Canada Department of Fisheries and Oceans, Transport Canada, Fishery Products International, The Charles Everett Hospital New Brunswick, Newfoundland Hydro and many others in the educational and management development industry. He has served on a number of boards including Seabright Corporation (involved in technology transfer) and the Canadian Centre for Management Development.
