   Schedule/Dates

Wherever possible, we try to begin each week with classes around mid-day Monday, and end each week at mid-day Friday. This is not always possible and we ask for your understanding of the problems of completing a complex timetable within this constraint. In general we try to ensure that First year, Arts and Sciences, face-to-face undergraduate courses are scheduled between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 12:00 noon. Second year business face-to-face undergraduate courses are generally scheduled between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 pm, Monday to Thursday, and from 8:30 am to 12:00 noon on Fridays. Exact scheduling of each course will be conveyed once the specific schedule of courses has been set.

The unique University Canada West skills sessions will be offered irregularly during the year to build skills in teaming, leadership, entrepreneurship, creativity, writing and oral communication.

Face-to-face graduate courses are generally scheduled between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.

Chat sessions for On-line courses are scheduled in the evenings Monday to Thursday, Pacific Standard Time, but will be subject to voluntary participation. Threaded discussions on specific topics will take place during each week of the course and participation can be scheduled according to the student's local time.
