   Admissions Requirements

Undergraduate Degree Programs:

All applicants must have the equivalent to British Columbia High School graduation.

Applicants must have a minimum average of 65% to be considered for admission to first year at UCW.

We calculate your average based on your grade for English 12 and your best 3 additional academic Grade 12 subjects. You must also have scored 65% or better in Principles of Mathematics 11 and English 12.

Graduate Degree Programs:

Applicants for UCW MBAs should normally possess an undergraduate degree with a B or better average in the last two years of their program.

Our 1-year and 2-year Internet/Residency MBA programs require work experience as well as an undergraduate degree. Work experience is NOT a requirement for the On Campus, Full-time, MBA program.

Applicants for the Accelerated MBA For University business graduates should have a BCom, or BBA with a B or better average in the last two years of their program.

We do not generally require a GMAT when students have an undergraduate degree from a UCW fully recognized university.

We accept credit for experience through our Prior Learning, Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) process. Such entry is normally limited to those with senior experience managing people or projects. For most of these applications, a GMAT is required and is used as a diagnostic rather than as a limiting factor. Additionally, a combination of experience, college diplomas in business, in-house training, service club, and charitable activities, are just a few of the things that can be used as elements of a PLAR Portfolio.

Degree Completion Programs:

1. Successful completion of 60 credits (20-24 courses) from a public sector college Business Diploma Program
2. Business Diploma curriculum should include two university-level writing courses, a mathematics course and two economics courses.
3. GPA of ‘B’ or better in last year of program
