Our MBA is as unique as you
are
At University Canada West, our MBA programs are flexible, versatile,
and tailor-made to suit your needs. You learn from seasoned academic
faculty with significant, real-world experience, and you are supported
by knowledgeable Learning Coaches so you can succeed in your studies
– and graduate with the credentials you need to succeed in your
career.
Made-to-measure MBAs
We have MBA degrees that are designed to meet your needs. The first
two let you ‘earn while you learn’ – you will complete
most of your coursework over the Internet, and will only need to be
away from work for three weeks during your residency. Our third MBA
program is taught on-campus over a 12 month period.
1) Accelerated one-year MBA for Commerce and Business graduates
If you have a degree in Business or Commerce, you can earn your MBA
in a single year, either by taking a full course load on campus in
Victoria, or by completing most of your coursework over the Internet,
and attending a single, two-week, on-campus Residency.
2) Two-year MBA for non-Business graduates
If you have a non-Business degree, you can earn your MBA in two years
while you continue to work. You will complete most of your coursework
over the Internet and attend a two-week, on-campus Residency each
year.
3) On-campus, full-time one year MBA for non-business graduates
If you have a non-Business degree, you can earn your MBA in a single
year of intensive, full-time study on campus in Victoria. This is
a particularly challenging program that requires a high degree of
commitment on your part.
On-campus: Our Residencies help you learn
As an MBA student, you will spend at least two weeks of every year
studying on campus in Victoria or other exciting locations. We call
these intense study periods ‘Residencies’, and although
you will not live on campus, you will reside in Victoria and attend
classes at University Canada West every day.
These Residencies are a vital part of your education. They build
teamwork and leadership skills in a way that is difficult to accomplish
over the Internet. They also build strong and lasting relationships
between you, your professors, and your fellow students – relationships
that will support you as you continue your studies and provide a useful
network for your future.
