Sandra Lee Dunne appointed University Canada West Librarian
Victoria, October 22, 2007: Dr. David Strong President and Dr. Robert Rogerson Vice President Academic UCW are very pleased to welcome Sandra Lee Dunne to the position of Librarian.
Sandra is an experienced university and college teacher in Library Science, having taught from 2002-2005 at the University of Hong Kong and since then at UBC.
She has also held positions as Head of Multimedia Learning Centre and Head of Steveston Branch of Richmond Public Library, Information Specialist at North Vancouver City Library, Teaching Assistant and Tutor in Library Science for Charles Sturt University in Australia.
Sandra has published 3 refereed journal articles, has articles in 4 refereed conference proceedings, been co-editor of a volume of conference proceedings and contributed two chapters to books.

Sandra will be working part-time as Librarian until the end of 2007. She is also working part time as Regional Liaison Officer for the BC Network for Aging Research.
She has her BA from University of Alberta in Political Science, and her MLIS from University of British Columbia.
