Step-by-Step Guide for Mature Students
- age 21 and older
If you are a mature student, you have the chance to show us that
you have the potential to succeed at UCW by other than strictly
academic means. We will review each mature student application on
its own merits.
To qualify as a mature student you must:
Have been out of school for at least two years
Be 21 years of age, on or before the first day of classes
Be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident
Have shown us that you have the potential for success through
your academic, professional or volunteer activities and other
accomplishments.
Meeting the mature student criteria does not guarantee that
you will be admitted to the University. We review each applicant
individually.
If you are admitted to UCW as a mature student, you must achieve
a minimum 60% overall average in your first Quarter before you will
be allowed to register for your second Quarter.
